Asian Voices

National origins, family, education and global opportunity in the former account.

The Asian Voices page estimated that Asian women made up 4.1% of U.S. females and referred to a 2004 spending-power estimate of $344 billion for Asians. It discussed entrepreneurship, educational attainment and income as reasons brands should understand the audience. Those numbers are retained as dated claims from the site edition.

Six large communities

The page named Chinese, Filipino, Asian Indian, Vietnamese, Korean and Japanese populations as six major groups, with Chinese Americans the largest in its framing. Its central point was that Asian American women could not be treated as culturally interchangeable.

What the page connected

It discussed family and education, community preservation, and choices based on quality and value. It also viewed women of Asian heritage as possible leaders in global business, particularly as U.S. companies paid more attention to China.

Those themes were part of the firm’s historical market analysis. They do not establish current population shares or shared preferences. A useful brand question is which national, generational, language and community distinctions matter in a particular decision. Continue to Leading Voices for the full set of perspectives.
